England
In England, the policies governing education is primarily handled by the Department of Children, Schools and Families as well as the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills of the Government of United Kingdom. The school boards are given budgets and run by independent officials. The school boards are responsible in setting out policies governing education standards in school districts, including teaching, school curricula and funding.
