Entrance Requirements
If you are planning an international education you should plan ahead and prepare the necessary papers you need. These include requirements that are required of you by the schools as well as those that are also needed by the country you have chosen. This activity will take you much of your time maybe for a week or two but once you get there as a student you can also say it’s worth the preparation.
The following are the usual requirements that maybe asked of you. Feel free to take a look and asked yourself if you can prepare them since this would eventually guide you for your study abroad plan.
Visa As an international student you would be required to prepare F1 visa. All international students are required of this too just like you. Immigration laws in countries usually visited by tourists and students such as US, for example, are strict. For you to be able to get reliable information you can visit the US embassy, or to any embassy in your home country where you intend to go.
Study requirements If you are an undergraduate student you need at least 12 hours of actual study every week. For graduate students they are required at least 9 hours of study. You also need to check first the private school you intend to enrol for you to be able to get the full picture rather than checking them when you’re already at Denver airport.
Financially stable When you plan to study abroad there is also one important requirement you should prepare yourself first, or else, you will only be disappointed later if you get rejected by the embassy because of this. You should prove to the interviewing embassy officials in your home country that you can financially support your study abroad. Most progressive countries use visa in almost all transactions so you need to be able to have one too. Many successful people who went abroad and studied there keep records of their bank statements accurate and clean. This can also help you to prove that you can support your study. In fact most people who went to the embassy for interview brought their financial statements and some asset credentials.
Passport One also of the most important requirements is your passport. This is especially when you already travel. Immigration Officers would immediately check your passport and be sure to bring it with you during your travel or you would be arrested by authorities.
Other requirements There are also other local requirements you also need to prepare to validate yourself as a good citizen in your home country. These requirements may include police clearance, clearance from the national bureau of investigation, passport photos, etc. You may think these are very small requirements but you need them.
